Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Bershad municipality, located in Vinnytsia region, serves as a powerful agro-industrial engine for southern Ukraine. The economy is defined by a massive, high-yield agricultural ecosystem managing over 65,700 hectares of productive agricultural land, including 59,700 hectares of premium arable soil. Bershad hosts 124 active agricultural enterprises that consistently lead the region in harvest volumes across diverse sectors: crop production (38.7%), mixed farming (21%), livestock breeding (20.2%), and value-added food processing (8.9%). This agricultural dominance is balanced by a rich natural resource base, including 9 rivers, 43 ponds, 12,500 hectares of sustainably managed forest lands, and substantial unexploited deposits of industrial granite, clay, quartz sand, and kaolin.
