Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Volochysk municipality is located in western Ukraine along important transport routes connecting central Ukraine with the EU border. The municipality has a mixed urban–rural structure with fertile agricultural land and a strong focus on farming, small business, and local services.
The municipality is economically oriented toward agriculture and small/medium enterprises, and is actively working on infrastructure modernization and energy efficiency projects. It also hosts internally displaced persons due to the war, which increases social needs but also strengthens its resilience.
For investors and international partners, the municipality is attractive due to its location, developed agricultural base, available workforce, and openness to recovery and development cooperation projects.
