Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Desnianskyi Biosphere Reserve, the Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Nature Park, and other natural resources of the municipality create a strong potential for the development of sustainable eco-tourism. A large amount of agricultural land serves as a key tool for agricultural development.
The high potential for civilized eco-tourism development can be utilized for the recovery and recreation of military personnel and war veterans within the Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Nature Park. By assessing demand and understanding veterans' needs, the municipality aims to develop the necessary tourism infrastructure and attractive routes within the Desnianskyi Biosphere Reserve. In addition to specialized green tourism for the military, the national park's core scientific activity remains essential. This will attract scientific tourists to our territory to conduct research, including studying the war's impact on the biosphere and nature of the national park, and calculating estimated timelines for the full recovery of the borderland biosphere.
