Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Dolynske municipality in Zaporizhzhia region, occupies a premium geostrategic position. Its proximity to the Dnipro River, exceptionally fertile soils, and well-integrated transport links create ideal conditions for high-yield agriculture, logistics networks, and green tourism. The municipality features a deep cultural heritage, spanning ancient Scythian and Cossack histories alongside a profound Mennonite legacy, vividly preserved in the local architecture of the 1912 Mennonite school (now the Administrative Services Centre) and the historic Heinrich Schultz factory.
The economic foundation of the municipality is exceptionally strong, driven by high-performing industrial giants operating within its borders, most notably Global Spirits Group LLC and UTDK LLC (celebrated nationwide under the "Khortytsia" trademark). Due to its scenic riverside landscapes in the villages of Nyzhnia Khortytsia and Rozumivka, the municipality has developed a successful hospitality and recreation cluster featuring equestrian clubs, the "Mennonite Corner" open-air ethnography site, and the "Ukrainian Svitlytsia" cultural centre.
Operating as a frontline territory for over four years, the Dolynske municipality faces enemy shelling that impacts private housing and civil infrastructure. Despite these severe security challenges, the local administration has demonstrated outstanding institutional resilience and humanitarian capacity. The municipality rapidly transformed its network of educational and cultural facilities into highly efficient volunteer hubs, providing comprehensive emergency aid and shelter to waves of internally displaced persons evacuating from occupied zones. For international donors, development agencies, and private investors, the Dolynske municipality offers a highly transparent, experienced platform uniquely ready for public-private partnerships focused on decentralized energy security, reinforced social infrastructure, and sustainable post-war economic recovery.
